Jan L.G. Dietz is full professor in Information Systems Engineering at Delft University of Technology. Being an IT practitioner since 1970, he became a Doctor in Information sciences in 1987 and started as professor at the Maastricht University.
In their research they both focus on the issue of alligning business and IT. Key challenge for them is to develop methodology that bridges the gaps that exist
between business needs and ICT capacity and between theory and practice.
